Although to be fair there isnt much to write about, I managed to get out of work early on Friday and was down "Heron" soon after 5pm.
I had a quick walk round and dropped into the middles, I was on fish so felt quite confident of a take or two.
However, I awoke Saturday morning to find the fish looking like they had started to spawn, as the sun got higher in the sky the tempretures started to rise and it really didnt look good for a take, I decided to pack up late morning and leave them to get on with it.
I wont be on "Heron" this weekend as I am taking my Brother-Inlaw (to be!) on his first Carping Session, he has gradually got his gear together over the last month or two so I am going to take him to a nice little water the other side of Northampton for the day and see if I can guide him in the direction of a fish or two, and hope to bag a few myself! But if the fish are not playing ball at least I can show him how to tie a few rigs etc.
So hopefully I will report back with a few fish to and hopefully news of Martins first Carp!
